Someone Blew Up The Georgia Guidestones

Which one of you was it? If you haven't already heard, the mysterious Georgia Guidestones were demolished yesterday after someone set off a bomb that damaged a significant portion of the monument.

The Georgia Guidestones have been called the "American version of Stonehenge", which we think is a bit of a stretch. We all know the Bass Pro Shop pyramid in Las Vegas is America's one true great monument.

However, the Guidestones were originally erected in 1980, and consist of six granite slabs standing 19 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 237,746 pounds in total. So far authorities do not know who set the explosion, but they do have an image of a vehicle that was caught on CCTV.

The Guidestones were inscribed with ten guidelines or principles to help guide humanity. Of the ten "guidelines" are statements such as, "Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature." And, "Avoid petty laws and useless officials."

It's not exactly clear why someone would want to target the monument, but it is clear that we are no longer allowed to have nice things, so thanks, whoever you are.
